Shaktikanta Das, governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), visited the state briefly on February 17, to lay the foundation stone of the new RBI- Goa building coming up on plot No.1, Patto, Panaji.

Expressing his gratitude to the state government and Puneet Kumar Goel, chief secretary for allotting the plot, Das hoped that, construction of the building is on time and the edifice is constructed on green norms.

“The challenges that lie ahead are in timely construction of the office building and at the same time the construction should be environment friendly and energy efficient, without compromising on the quality and structural soundness.
