MLA Vinay Bhaskar promises support to retired police officers association #IndiaNEWS #News
Hanamkonda: Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had put in place the friendly policing system for the benefit of the people after the formation of the Telangana State, and added that steps would be taken for the benefit of the retired police officers.
Addressing a meeting of the retired police officers association held here at Ambedkar Bhavan on Wednesday, Vinay Bhaskar said that he would bear the expenditure of building construction for the association of the police officers besides contributing his one month salary of Rs 1.65 lakh to the association. Warangal Police Commissioner Dr Tarun Joshi has also assured that he would ensure that the retired police officials would receive their retirement benefits within the stipulated time, while District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu said that steps would be taken to set up an office for the retired police officers in the district centre besides making special arrangements for their welfare.
District Treasury Officer G Raju, local corporators Sodha Kiran, Nalla Swarupa Rani Reddy and retired Police Officers Association president Puli Veera Reddy, office bearers of the association Jaipal Reddy, Mastan, Babu, Kumaraswamy, Sanjeeva Rao, and others attended the meeting.
