Hyderabad: Teenager killed in accident #IndiaNEWS #Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A 13 year-old boy was run over by a lorry at Chandrayangutta on Sunday afternoon.
According to the police, the victim G Nishkal Goud, a class ninth student and a resident of Errakunta was going on an Activa scooter from Errakunta to Chandrayangutta.
“When the boy reached Noori Shah Graveyard, he tried to overtake a lorry ahead of him. However, the vehicle skidded and he fell from the scooter and came under the front wheel of the lorry. He was run over,� said Chandrayangutta sub inspector, Mohd Akbar.
On information the police reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem examination to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary. A case is booked by the police and the driver of the lorry taken into custody. The vehicle was also seized by the police.
