FSSAI issues warning against illegal use of trademark AJI-NO-MOTO New Delhi, Mar 17 (KNN) The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FASSAI) has released a notice against illegal use of registered trademark AJI-NO-MOTO owned by the Japanese company, Ajinomoto Ca.,Inc. 

Legal actions will be taken against any person or entity using the said trademark or referring to it, said regulatory of food industry. 

It has clarified that the trademark AJI-NO-MOTO has been registered in India since 1964 as well as in many countries of the world and is the brand name for Ajinomoto Co., Incs MSG products. 

Trademark registration is has major significance in the food industry as it helps businesses market their food product and gives your product an edge.

It also builds consumer recognition to a food business and loyalty towards a brand. 

Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is the apex food regulator of India under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. (KNN Bureau)
