New Delhi Aug 01 (ANI): Private cab drivers ferrying school children go on a day strike in Delhi on August 1. They demanded the status of commercial vehicles for their cabs. Parents are facing difficulties as they have to ferry their children to school on their own. Speaking about the strike, a cab driver said, “We are perturbed and request the Delhi government to support us, we dont flout any rules. We have already faced hardships in a pandemic.� “We are facing a lot of problems in commuting. The cab drivers are on strike; they have thousands of rupees of Challan. Their vehicles status isnt getting renewed,� said a parent.
