BRBNMPL donates learning equipment worth Rs. 41 lakh to Maharani’s College #IndiaNEWS #News
Mysore/Mysuru: City’s Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Pvt. Limited (BRBNMPL), under its Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has donated learning equipment including 100 computers, 10 projectors and other accessories worth Rs. 41 lakh to Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women located on Valmiki road in Vinayakanagar.
More than 4,500 girl students are studying in this college which offers B. Com, BBA, M.Com, MBA and other courses.
These digital learning equipment were handed over to the college authorities recently.
Speaking on the occasion, BRBNMPL General Manager Ramesh Kumar said that learning dimensions have changed completely with the advancement of science and technology.
Noting that computers and projectors are necessary tools for the fast changing world, he said that the BRBNMPL, realising the importance of these learning equipment, thought it fit to donate them out of its CSR funds. He called upon the students to make best use of these equipment for making their studies easier.
BRBNMPL General Manager (PP) Dr. N. Krishnaswamy said that the intelligence levels will go up with increased work. Pointing out that newer technologies are emerging almost every other day, he said that mastering these technologies will help in faster career growth.
College Principal Dr. G.H. Mahadevaswamy, who presided, thanked BRBNMPL for responding to the plea for donating digital equipment worth Rs. 41 lakh to the college.
BRBNMPL Manager N.G.Murali too spoke. Assistant Manager Akhileshwar Reddy, M.P. Ravi, college faculty Dr. S. Manju, R.V. Manu, Somanna and others were present.
