KTR demands PM Modi to bring legislations for free education, healthcare #IndiaNEWS #News
Hyderabad: The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) slammed the BJPs double standards on freebies. The party leadership pointed out that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi says no to freebies, the partys State president makes contradictory statements promising to provide free double bedroom housing, education and health in Telangana upon getting voted to power.
TRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao came down heavily on Thursday over BJP State president Bandi Sanjays promises of free double bedroom housing, education and health in Telangana. During his ongoing padayatra (walkathon) BJP State president Bandi Sanjay promised to implement the promises for the poor after the BJP comes to power in the State.
Taking a dig at Sanjay over his promises, Rama Rao said the stupidity of the Telangana unit of BJP is stupendous. While Vishwa Guru says NO Freebies, this joker MP promises Free Education, Health & Houses! Isn’t BJP governing this Nation? Who is stopping you from legislating in parliament on Free Houses, Education & Health for entire Country?, he questioned.
The TRS working president demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring in legislations in the Parliament to provide free education, healthcare and double bedroom houses for the poor in all States of the country. He pledged the complete support of TRS MPs to such legislation in the Parliament in this regard.
Further, the TRS working president assured that his party MPS will vote in the Parliament for these legislations and demanded Prime Minister Modi to bring in legislations in the Parliament in line with his BJP Telangana’s promises.
Ever since Prime Minister Modis remark of revadi culture sparked a debate on freebies, the TRS leaders strongly defended the welfare schemes being implemented by the State government. They have been arguing that the Modi government not only ignored the peoples welfare, but also triggered a debate by terming the welfare schemes as freebies and made the lives of people more miserable.
The BJP State leaders who initially criticised the State government for promoting freebies culture in the State, now took a complete U-turn and during his Praja Sangrama Yatra at Kukatpally on Wednesday, Sanjay promised that if voted to power, BJP will allot free houses to poor and also provide free education and health.
