Goa’s Investment Promotion Policy 2.0, to woo investors is likely to be released this week, said state industry minister, Mauvin Godinho. Speaking at a road show in New Delhi to invite investors, he disclosed that the final draft of this policy is almost ready for unveiling.
Promising ease of doing business to any prospective client willing to make investments in Goa, Godinho added that, the new industrial and investment promotion policy is specially designed with single window clearance approach.
With the presence of a natural port, two airports, fully connected 4-lanes national highways from north to south, Goa has huge potential to become a multi-modal logistic hub, said the minister.
He pointed out that, the new green field airport at Mopa will boost the trade from Goa ten-folds with advantage of also serving the neighbouring regions of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
An Invest Goa Summit 2022 is due to be held in the state next month for which Godinho accompanied by president, GCCI Ralph de Sousa, past president Manguirish Pai Raiker, director general Sanjay Amonkar, local industrialist Sandeep Sood, and Goa IPB consultant Pratyusha Jain was in Delhi for the last two days.
