Kochi

In an effort to encourage sustainable and pollution-free commuting on the campus, Infopark on Friday launched MYBYK, an app-based bicycle-sharing service.

The project is an extension of the MYBYK service earlier launched across the city in association with Kochi Metro. The service was inaugurated jointly by Kerala IT Parks  CEO, John M Thomas and Kochi Metro MD, Loknath Behera.

“Bikes will be available for hire at nine different locations across the Infopark. Users can simply install the MYBYK app and start using it, a release issued by Infopark said.

The bike service is a minimal cost and eco-friendly commuting option available on the campus, Thomas said.

“We will introduce electric cycles very soon and Infopark will be made the hub of e-cycles, Behera said.

Infopark has more than half a million employees working in 460 companies.

With the completion of the vaccination drive by this month, more companies have started returning to normal operations on the campus.

Inforpark expects MYBYK service to become a commute option for IT professionals and other employees at the campus.
