Panaji: Augmenting the network connectivity in the state, Indus Towers Ltd., a telecom infrastructure company installed a new telecom tower near old Secretariat, Panaji,
Indus Towers is India’s leading provider of passive telecom infrastructure. The company deploys, owns, and manages telecom towers and communication structures for all telecom operators including Airtel, Vi and Jio.
The company’s portfolio comprises over 1,85,447 telecom towers in India with presence in all 22 telecom circles. In Maharashtra and Goa, it owns 32% of the 46,000 mobile towers across the industry.
The new telecom tower demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing affordable, high-quality and reliable services for the growing network connectivity needs of India. As part of the Goa Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2020, the state has sanctioned 255 mobile towers to be installed in different parts of the state, said company officials.
Inaugurating the tower, Bimal Dayal, MD & CEO, Indus Towers said, “Our nation is moving full steam towards achieving the dream of Digital India and a robust telecom infrastructure is essential for this.
